The Sensory Travel Experience and Future Textiles

Aims of project:
Design collection: To explore the sensory experience of travel and develop a collection of textiles for any future given travel scenario. You will be encouraged to consider the implications of smart, intelligent and ecological travel, in the context of the 5 senses.
I developed a collection of graphics that I printed, drew and embroidered with conductive materials. The materials become sensitive for electromagnetic waves of the environment and translate them into sounds.
The project was inspired by acoustic location which describes the capacity of using sound to determine the distance and direction of objetcs. The electronics include Daniel Weiss‘ signal generator circuits.
